At the corner of Mortensen & Dickinson in West Ames, Westport Center became the hub for a newly developed neighborhood. This mixed-use building was designed for Jensen Group to provide housing and retail/office space in this growing area of Ames. Traditional Mainstreet lot widths informed the building massing lending a familiar human scale to a large building in a relatively undeveloped area.
