MG Biologics, set in the countryside south of Ames, IA, combines rural design familiarity with high-tech lab environments. The program required many unique complexities; a lounge, open and closed office space, locker rooms, conference rooms, research labs, production areas, shipping & receiving, and storage. Extensive coordination with the USDA was a major part of the scope to ensure that JCorp took proper steps to design a facility that meets all federal requirements for biological facilities while capturing the client’s programmatic needs.
