LOF-Xpress revitalized a property on South Duff Avenue in Ames, IA, long left vacant and dilapidated. JCorp worked closely with the client to develop a building that fit the unique express lube, oil, and filter system he developed. From a long, narrow lot to building a basement in a flood plain to working around an existing billboard, the site constraints were very challenging. The building was placed close to South Duff to allow queuing behind the building. The front corner of the building became a feature form on the building to allow for signage and to define an entry along this highway-oriented corridor. LOF-Xpress opened a second location shortly after in Ankeny, IA, designed in the same style.
