Core Apartments is the result of the first partnership between JCorp and Roers Investments. JCorp worked through several master plan options with two different owners to strike the right balance of density and efficient use of the site. The building consists of four residential levels over two parking levels. Challenges included working with a site with two stories of grade change across the building and creating enough parking between an easement and a ravine to serve the nearly 100 units. Creative thinking and a team atmosphere between the owner, designer, construction manager, and subcontractors resulted in the project being completed on schedule even with a condensed timeline and significantly under budget.
