Chamberlain Lofts sits one block south of the Iowa State University campus in the Campustown district of Ames, IA. With the limited parking area in Campustown and the sloping site, we provided 1-1/2 levels of parking below this mixed-use building. The ground level serves as commercial space, and the remaining four stories comprise 57 loft-style apartments. The contemporary feel of the building combined with the exterior masonry creates a dynamic aesthetic that seamlessly blends with the campus's historic buildings, visible from many of the units within the building.
